Ok. For a skinny girl, this might work. they go to greatness. The size is accurate. I usually wear 2x and that's what I ordered. Ideal for waist, hips and thighs. Slightly narrow from knee to mid-calf. The material has some stretch but is very sticky and stiff in the bottom 6-8 inches. Feels like vintage hard denim. but well made and strong. not soft knit. doesn't look like a knit. But it's such a good price, I think I'll buy more but cut off at the knee and tighten the hem. Make Bermuda shorts. Good for work, gardening, painting etc. I think they will wear well. I hope they will soften a bit after washing. otherwise sissors will come out. (Maybe my calves are the problem, I'm not skinny enough.) My star rating reflects my true feelings about this product. TO UPDATE. just washed, in cold water, and happy, the seams haven't torn and the paint doesn't flow. So don't fade away. yippee SECOND UPDATE. AFTER WASHING AND HANGING ON THE LINE. I expected to think. but they don't, and they get softer as you wear them. strange but it's true. I won't tumble dry them, it's too risky. I wanted to order 2 more but they increased the price by $5 per pair. . I hate this. Reorders must be at the same price as the initial order. I don't think they care about a lost sale. TO UPDATE. bit the bullet and paid a higher price for 3 more pairs. Cut the first pair to bermuda length and the second pair to below the knee length. I removed the other 2, maybe it will get smaller. But the same quality and the same size. so all good.
