Do not use this mug for hot liquids. If you close the lid to prevent spills and slide or tilt the mug, the lid will pop off and your hot beverage will squirt out. I just got burned the first time I used this mug. Very sad and quite dangerous. Edit December 11th: I bought this mug on Prime Day from Revain - actually accidentally bought 2, and the cases threw away the packaging before first use. What a waste of over $50. They didn't stop having this problem - definitely a design flaw. I don't use a drink over 165°F. They've turned into a barn and shop - if I run them over with a tractor, well. Never heard a word from the manufacturer or seller about this mug. I returned to the hydroflask. A better product with much better customer support.
