Review on 🎧 Willsenton R8 KT88/EL34 x4 Tube Integrated AMP Power Amplifier Headphone (Black): Experience Pure Audio Excellence by Eric Dailey

Due to a move I had to sell some of my favorite high end tube works. In my new home, I settled on a much cheaper system that I would like (hopefully just as much as my old one). My previous integrated amp was $26,000 so I expected disappointment from this R8 amp. Over the past 30 years I've had amps, preamps, integrated amps, and speakers ranging in price from $500 to $50,000. I had Luxman amps, Carey. McIntosh, Devialet, Naim and many more. What I can tell you is that this is a 100% keeper and yes it works MUCH MUCH above its price. Only the structure and the design are worth the asking price. I ordered mine and it arrived in two days. I added Bluesound Node 2i. No fancy DACs, no fancy NOS tubes. Stock only. Streaming from Tidal and Spotify. Compared to the Naim Nova ($6,000 built in), this sounds better to me with my Klipsch Heresy IV speakers. It adds thundering bass, a louder voice and a warmer delivery. All for $4,800 less. DAS is the goalkeeper and I see nothing but quality here. In fact, the build outperforms some of the fancy US integrated amps that cost a lot more. This is a special part not typically found in high-end audio, and it is high-end audio. make no mistake It sounds way better than my old Cary SLI-80. Better than my old Octave V40 and better looking. This unit was surprisingly well packaged and I love the rich tube sound. It's also completely silent as I hear NO HISS coming out of my 99DB speakers when there's no music playing. Unthinkable in this price range. If you think about it and you have effective speakers, take action. Btw on my Heresy IVs I have about 8 o'clock volume on the dial and it gives me a lot of volume and sounds so good. At a lower volume, it maintains the warmth and solidity of the picture. I can't say enough good things about this amp. I'm at a loss.
