I've been using this for about two weeks to freshen the air next to the litter box and it works quite well. It absorbs the unpleasant smell of pets quite well, leaving a feeling of clean air. Out of the box it's ready to use, simply remove the plastic from the filter and press the "on" button. think is good. For some reason I thought it was higher before using it, but it seems like everywhere I've used it in my home, the average level of particulate matter in my air is pretty low. I'm not sure if that's correct, but at least it gives me a good idea. The LCD screen also contains a lot of other information such as temperature, humidity and filter life. It also has a UV lamp to disinfect the air from germs. For the most part, I feel like you're paying more for this air purifier's sleek design with informative features. There are other competing air purifiers that can beat this Happi's CADR, but don't look as good or have informative features. I think the only thing I don't like about Happi is the size, I didn't expect it to be that big. It's about the size of a cylindrical laundry basket. If it could be about 15% smaller and just as efficient, I could handle it.
