I'm 5ft 6in and 143lbs. My waist measurement is 80 cm. I usually wear size 8. I ordered size M first. It's comfortable in the waist, but there's too much material in the back of the hip. I switched to a smaller size. Everything was fine this time, just the waist is a little tight I removed a few stitches (about 1-1 1/2" from each end, see second photo) that hold the elastic in place. This loosened the strap. Now it is very convenient and beautiful. I wear it for the first time with a pair of boots and a short sweater. I find it also goes well with light grey, light blue or tan sweaters. The material is thick and keeps you warm.
