I use six months. I advise you to take a carcass, because the whale lens is terrible. I foolishly bought a whale. There is no way to buy good glass yet, but I took a decent sigma for a couple of days. The difference is palpable. Now I'm going to buy it. And then 24-105 f4 of the Canon L-series. And it will turn out a bunch for a couple of years behind the eyes. For the first DSLR, this is clearly the best option. If you don't care about shooting speed, it's not much different from the 60D. My advice is to save up for a good lens, like the same L'ka.
