If you complain that the spoon is difficult to clean, don't tear the spoon off the base, because cleaning was really easy for us. If you still have problems, just buy the small brushes from Dr. Browns that they use to clean the small parts of their bottles. It makes on-the-go snacking a lot cleaner for me and my 7 month old. I've used it on about 6 different pouches and the only one it doesn't match is the Gerber brand because they have a much wider spout on the pouches. I also like it because it has a lid so my diaper bag doesn't get dirty when it's awkward to rinse out the spoon.
