I've been using headphones from different brands for 20 years and my favorite brands are Audio-Technica, AKG and Sennheiser. I prefer a balanced and clear sound that tends toward high frequencies rather than heavy bass, but with just enough bass to balance the sound well. The look and build quality of these headphones is very pleasing. They don't feel cheap or overly plasticky, and the overall size is good for on-ear headphones. I find them very comfortable with just enough padding on both ears and the top band. I typically never wear headphones for more than an hour or two and have never felt any discomfort during that time. I know people often complain that headphones often don't fit large heads well, and I would probably agree that in this case they would be uncomfortable. They fit my medium sized head well, but if they were tighter I think wearing them for more than half an hour might be a problem. The Blue Tooth connection was easy and reliable on iPods, iPads and MacBook Airs. Sometimes I have to tell the laptop to connect twice, but once connected I've never had a problem with a reliable connection. The battery life was amazing. I use them daily for both phone calls and music and the earbuds have lasted at least a couple of weeks on a single charge when used 1-2 hours a day. The Bluetooth technology for pausing, advancing and changing the volume worked flawlessly. I'm very picky about the sound quality of my headphones and am quick to return headphones that don't fit. It's not like that here. The sound quality is phenomenal, with a fantastic balance of bass, mids and treble. They're as good as any headphones I've ever owned and it's a pleasure to listen to the huge range of music I love. The sound quality of the microphone when making calls was also good according to my request. If I lose them I would have no hesitation in ordering another pair and would highly recommend them for their amazing sound quality, construction and functionality. Best headphone purchase in years.
