I use it on the front of a motorcycle helmet. Installing the camera and audio converter together in this frame gives a nice and clean installation. I like it. In order to install the camera in the frame and access the audio converter connector, I had to remove the battery cover. on GoPro. I'm not sure if the camera is 100% waterproof if installed this way. It's not so much about the mounting frame, but about the plugged-in cable from the audio converter. Without this framework you would have the same problem.
