I love these lights! I bought one for night bouldering (climbing) along with a pair of smaller 1500 lumen lights. I liked this one so much that I bought a second one! Super bright (3000 lumens), love spot/flood/both modes and the battery life is very impressive. I had a lot of climbs where my other headlights went out and this one stayed on for about 3 hours before I got back to the car. I still didn't have a single matrix. I haven't used the USB charging option but love this feature. I use my phone to take videos of my climbing, so I started taking my iPhone charger and one of those lights with me for daytime activities as well. All in all, I highly recommend it! It's worth it compared to cheaper 1500 lumen bulbs.
