Annie's review: I ordered a size 8 as the 1/2 size was out of stock. I usually wear 7 1/2 baggy clothes that are hard to find. They feel like a true size 8 - roomy. I wear ballet slippers in them though, so they fit me perfectly. As one reviewer noted, they don't have much Arch support. I tried to photograph the small arch but I don't think I captured the depth. There is a small arch but I bought gel insoles to support the arch and added them (you can see them in the last photo of the pair of shoes. The color is light gray - a nice shade, I think it's silver - very nice ). I love the mesh panels to keep my feet cool. While the bottom is ribbed, the material is somewhat plasticky and I wouldn't count on this shoe not slipping in unsuitable conditions. I do all my mat workouts at home. and not outdoors, so the soles of these shoes have the perfect grip and glide, allowing me to train on the carpet without twisting my ankles or slipping. I love the comfortable Velcro closures. I wear them every day. for my exercises and I had no problems. They appear to be well made and will last a long time. If you notice a hole on one of the straps, it's not a fault of the shoe - my cat thought it would make a good chew toy. Now in the 9th life.
