This is a great little brace that offers light support and compression if you work in the water or need to wash your hands often like I do when I'm taking care of mine taking care of daughter with special needs. I can't take the cloth bandage off and put it back on every few minutes. I want it to go deeper to the base of the thumb. I also added a gel toe brace at this point for cushioning if my thumb (thumb tendon) is sensitive. Thanks very much! I have recommended it to all my girlfriends over 60 but with busy hands (teacher, quilter, scientist, etc.).
