READ CAREFULLY OF ALL! I researched the heating pad wax that I bought. This particular product caught my attention because of its advertising and the fact that it contains aloe vera and vitamin E. I tend to have slightly more sensitive skin around the tan area. I've waxed my eyebrows for years and sometimes with thread. I accidentally got a tiny burn from wax that was too hot and I know what it feels like and what it looks like. This particular product has a round pad (I don't have one) and puts it in a wax warmer. I could barely take the lid off and the wax was EVERYWHERE! Nothing about this product is easy! I got some wax in a low temp heating pad after having to use olive oil to remove the wax covering both my hands. FYI: The information on the bottom of the container does not match what is on Revain! It's called putting the wax in hot water. I'm no chemist, but I know enough that when you put wax in hot water to melt it to the right consistency, it must have an extremely low melting point (also not true). for the specified product). To get there, I heated the wax, checked the temperature on my skin, and rubbed my eyebrows. They were red and felt odd, but I was aware I was doing this at home. I prepped my brows in advance and used a small amount of Cetaphil face lotion afterwards. I woke up the next day and could hardly open my eyes! They were swollen and after shrinking a bit in front of the Benadryl you could see the servers burning. So not only are the directions out of sync, but if you look at the ingredients, this wax contains the same products that are used in antifreeze and that are used in tires and shoe soles. I'm not a crazy organic person but this pissed me off! Play it safe with this product and don't be fooled by the positive reviews!
