Review on 📱 BRAECN 9th 8th Gen iPad Case 10.2 Inch 2021-2020: Heavy Duty Kids Case with Pencil Holder, Screen Protector, & Hand Strap - Colorful Pink by Tom Reasons

I bought this because it had good reviews and I needed a case for my 6 year old daughter's (8th gen) iPad. She loves the colors of the rainbow. She can often drop things and hit them hard, so I wanted something permanent. I liked that it came with a cord to use for carrying and hanging in the car and it had a stand. I've only had it for a week so I hope it holds up. I deducted 2 stars because the case was CLOSED with instructions on how to open it inside the case. It would be helpful to have them OUTSIDE the case so I know how to open it properly (at one point I was afraid it would rip). The screen supervisor is awful - it had a blue film on it that was almost impossible to tear away from. I had no idea if the plastic was going to be removed entirely, or if only the blue film needed to be removed and there would actually be a transparent "protective film" of the screen. The sparse information that came with the product didn't say so. Initially we thought maybe the clear plastic should have been removed, but it left an odd black sticky streak around the bezel and I didn't want that on the iPad. So we could finally remove the blue film and try to stick on the screen's transparent "protector" (in quotes because I'm not sure how much it protects). Another reason I took another star is the stand. useful but not great. Seems solid, but it's difficult to adjust the iPad so that it sits at an angle that's comfortable for us. The rest of the case feels solid and will hopefully protect a real iPad from falls that could result from it being in the hands of an overly active person. 6 years Removing the case is quite difficult (e.g. if she uses the Osmo base we have to remove the case). But as long as you don't remove and reassemble the case frequently, you'll be fine. There is no water protection (we knew that when we bought it), but other than that it seems to hold up. The rear handle feels good too - very solid and the velcro handle seems to be of good quality.
