The gun works well but getting the sealant cartridge in and out is a bit difficult as the piston doesn't return far enough. At best, it's a fight. One question is why they didn't create a little more space for the piston at the back. UPDATE: I've used this gun a few times and have found that with a full tube of caulk the gun applies evenly and smoothly. However, when you reach about a quarter of the tube, the gun is working erratically and you have to keep pumping the handle, leaving a blotchy bead of caulk. cover up. Went back to my old cheap metal caulking gun which works great and pulls out the last quarter of a caulking tube. While this gun is non-drip, it's not worth the extra price if it doesn't perform the way a caulking gun is supposed to.
