I use ethernet cables in combination with powerline adapters to connect devices that are too far from my home WiFi router for a reliable wireless connection, and I also travel using wired ethernet to connect to a wired network when visiting a family member who only has a wired network at home. These DEFACE Category 7 flat Ethernet cables are much more flexible than a standard LAN cable, making them easier to route around obstacles or behind furniture, and easily rolled into a compact, flat roll for travel or to carry around in a laptop bag . for use in internet cafes. The 6.5ft DEFACE cables have a well-made feel, with gold-plated RJ45 connectors and an easy-to-grip rubber strain relief section where the cable connects to the connectors. Although I haven't been able to test the full throughput of CAT 7, I can confirm that these cables support 1.0Gbps LAN connectivity between my gigabit router and various laptops. There is no price listed in Revain's listing at the time of writing this review, but unless the seller is asking too much premium over standard cables, I would definitely consider buying more of these DEFACE flat ethernet cables because they are so much simpler are. carry and use as a standard LAN cable.
