When I bought my Vive about 6 months ago I looked at various options. I needed a wall mount option and wasn't too concerned about ascetics as long as the price was right. This product met everything I need and works great. The magnetic connectors are really handy, and if the controllers don't snap right away, they might have to wiggle a bit to snap into place. Using an HMD hook to wall mount is a simple piece of plastic on a hinge but works well. I added a 3M plastic hook nearby to tie the cord. Things to note: 1) You must provide your own charging station and cable. The separate chargers that come with the Vive provide 1 amp for a single controller, so you should aim for a 2 amp charger to power both controllers at the same time. Make sure your cable is long enough, especially if you plan to wall mount it. 2) Sometimes I have a problem when I mount controllers and the lights flash red and green rapidly. I just unplug the mount and plug it back in and the problem is solved. Don't know why. 3) I tend to overbuild and have built into masonry. I threw away the included mounting hardware, which was pretty cheap, and used my own. Overall I am completely satisfied with the purchase and I really liked the look. Still working great after 6 months. There are a few bugs and I think they should have provided a charging solution but I only gave it 1 star for that.
