I picked the cheapest thinking it was just a toaster. I was wrong. The toaster is from China and when you press the lever to toast it gives off a horrible chemical smell. We tried burning it with the toast function without bread for several cycles. He's still here and it's awful. The level of darkness he depicted on the toaster purchase page doesn't even come close to how he actually toasts bread. We had to turn it almost to the highest setting for the toast to even brown, and then when we turned it to 6 (highest setting) the toast burned. Buyer Warning! I suggest spending more money and buying a well known brand of equipment so you know what you are getting.
