I bought this camcorder with the understanding that you get what you pay for. This is by far one of the worst budget camcorders I've ever bought. Don't get me wrong, it's solid enough and easy to use, but I'm having trouble with video and audio playback. Whether from the device itself or after downloading files from the device to the PC. You can hardly hear the object you focus on when playing videos. The video quality is poor even if you choose the maximum video quality setting. Using a tripod doesn't improve the quality of the video either, it's still choppy and there's no sound. On the other hand, the instructions say you have to be at least 2m (6ft) away so your subject isn't blurry, but when they're talking or when you're trying to pick up a group's singing, you can't even hear them . What good is the zoom function if you can't hear what you're recording and the problem with PC playback is that you can't hear anything? Admittedly I bought this item based on the positive reviews and now I don't understand writing a review that the reviews for this product are so positive. I would recommend purchasing this product at your own risk. Using my iPhone's video capabilities is better than using this product. So what does that tell you? Sent back for a refund.
