I bought a 24" light to try in my 20g aquarium and now I will definitely be getting a pair of 48" lights for my Buy 150 g paludarium. This light is fantastic. I don't understand why there are so many reviews about how difficult it is to set up, mine comes with a quick start guide that got me through my near perfect 24 hour schedule in 10 minutes. I wasn't interested in the standard program, so I made my own. 6:00 10% blue/green, 9:00/12:00/15:00/18:00 full bright white/red, 21:00 10% red/green/blue, 12:00/3:00 total darkness . Very easy to set up, turns out very bright and has an amazingly smooth transition. I don't really like the remote, but I don't have to fiddle with it again unless the power goes out. As with any product, there is room for improvement. Most importantly, I wish I had a backup battery for the settings. Power outages are usually an unexpected thing, and I'd be nervous about being away from the tank on vacation or something. I don't want to come home and find my plants are dead because a bug wiped my settings. I'll probably buy a cheap backup light good enough to keep my plants going and put it on a mechanical timer set to full brightness on my Finnex. It won't be noticeable when Finnex is working properly, but it will save my plants if something goes wrong. Other than that, I would only wish for a bluetooth app with hourly or even half-hourly schedule control and 1% brightness control instead of 3 hours and 10% increments. Being able to set multiple seasonal schedules would be cool too.
