My +1000 Sony FDR-AX-53 IS NOT POSSIBLE to stream live anywhere other than Ustream for 100 per month. I wanted to broadcast events, meetings and games, but I couldn't. Sony didn't really help and my 1000 boat anchor was annoying. (I liked everything else about it). After reading several solution sets online with varying results, we chose this capture card as an interim solution to our problem. IT WORKS. Better it just works. It's a BEAST and does almost all the work on a stream that can easily be output via a laptop. Rarely impressed with tech doing what it's supposed to do well (rarely), this card is solid and a workhorse. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone broadcasting HD videos. It even comes with a super nice strap with clip for outdoor use which makes it very handy. The body is very well designed. Someone thought when they designed it inside out. Very happy!
