Purchased for my wife who is seeking relief from a heel spur and dropped arch. She works in a pharmacy and is on her feet most of the day. Tried compression stockings and a few other things of varying price and complexity. Bought size L/XL as recommended for her size 9 women's shoes. I noticed they were very tight and took two of us to fit before going to work in the morning. She said she took them off a few hours later when both legs started to hurt from the hard pressure. She finds that she can go a few times before the material relaxes a bit so they don't pull so tight. For the price we paid it wasn't a huge investment but at this point the judges are not deciding whether or not this product will be useful in the long term*** UPDATE **** Chrissie from TechWare contacted after the initial review. and offered my wife to try on a larger size "for free". She sent them via airmail with free same day shipping. Absolutely outstanding service. This is a rarity in today's market. We are very happy with their service and highly recommend trying their products. What do you lose with such a service? The compression sleeves do a good job of relieving the pain she is experiencing from the tendon. The right size is key so they don't squeeze so hard that they cut off circulation.
