I bought these headphones primarily for the gym, I was looking for over ear headphones that would block interfering radios from the gym and give me a boost to listen during my workout for around $100 properly inflate. And I've done my research, researched for months, checked reviews and tested headphones. I've narrowed the list down to V-Moda Crossfades and Skullcandy Skullcrushers. I bought both and tried both and this is what I found. These headphones have crisp, clear sound and feel more durable than most, but the biggest downside is that I can't wear them for more than an hour. The pads don't quite fit my ears (medium size), they fit well on my head and also retain heat which makes my ears sweat a lot. I don't know if I didn't find the middle ground or what, but the headband also started to dig in, probably due to the weight. My extra cable didn't work either which they probably would have replaced but I've already decided to return them for some Skullcrusher 360s and have been a happy backpacker ever since! People say that Skullcrushers have lower sound quality, but I can't help but agree, actually I'd say it's the other way around. I listen to many different genres of music, which is why the bass slider on Skullcrushers is so satisfying. I can easily turn down the bass when I'm listening to some of my favorite blues, rock, or bluegrass tracks. I've been researching for months and would suggest trying Skullcrushers!
