Super lite weight !Packaging DID protect the fringe from getting all snarly.You can get it wet if the fringe does get accidentally crinkled. I dared to get my other one wet.The brand X one on grey, came snarled, not this one. Just hang it on a hanger in the shower as it mightdrip a couple minutes. Dries in maybe 4 hours.no fuss. I did kinda place or smoothe the fringe but I think it will dry ok without fiddling.And so you can wash gently with just a little detergent + a soak. Then swish around,, rinse a lot, or u can spot clean also. If needed.p robably need to rinse off or blott water off well.But, like I thought, its not fussy, its a polyester product ! -But one of the best sorts of polyester!
