Conceptually good, but with serious flaws

Bought this cutlery for my two babies hoping I could put it in the dishwasher without any problems. They are cute, a good size and dishwasher safe. However, I don't like the sharp corners around the base of each utensil or the sharp/almost rough edges of the fork tines (instead of rounded tines). I could see these imperfections but was very disappointed when I noticed the stainless steel coating between the forks was peeling off after a week. They have already started to rust! The same happens with the serrated edges of knives. I think I will have to buy another product.

Pros

Safe Material - Children's tableware is made of high quality 430 (18/0) stainless steel without nickel content. It is rust resistant and contains no hazardous substances. Can be washed in the dishwasher.
