Works great at a great price

After reviewing several much more expensive media for my iPad, I decided on this product, partly because of the good reviews and partly because I realized I couldn't go with one much to lose had a low price. After lugging the iPad around with it for 2 months I am very happy with the quality and durability of the product. Although not real leather, it feels like real leather when worn. It is quite light and does not burden the iPad when carrying it. Since it's not bulky, it doesn't bother either β€” I use my iPad to take notes in all my meetings, and most of the time I just slip my iPad onto my bag via my sleeve. I had to make one correction: I have a magnetic smart cover that protects the surface of my iPad and also doubles as a stand when reading. As you can see from one of the product images, the iPad still fits snugly in the Dockem sleeve even with the Smart Cover on. However, the case puts enough pressure on the edge of the lid to lift the lid slightly off the iPad's surface. (This doesn't damage the lid, it just allows the smart cover to lift up on its natural hinges very easily.) In my experience, this moved the smart cover just enough to enable the "wake from sleep" setting, which is automatic wakes up the iPad. and turns off when you open and close the magnetic cover. I had to turn this setting off so my iPad wouldn't turn on its display every time the sleeve wobbled or moved. So the case works great even if you have a smart cover; Just be careful with the "wake from sleep" setting.
