Shoes appear to be well made from quality synthetic material. I ordered size 14 (men) although I prefer size 12.5 to 13 in EE or EEE. At first it was quite difficult to put them on barefoot, but in the end I won by removing the spring clasps from the laces and untying the laces completely. Shoes used to fit snugly around my feet and felt quite comfortable, like a new pair of homemade moccasins. I wore them around the house for a few days, then tried them on with a pair of socks and they loosened up enough to wear as is. I wear them all day, with socks, indoors and outdoors (weather is still chilly so outside isn't great). They're pretty cozy in the yard and even in our limestone driveway. Will buy again if they last a season. Pretty happy.
