This is a really beautiful statement necklace - very complete with fourteen different strands of pearls. There are many different shapes, sizes and textures of pearls that create an interesting pattern. The thread showing the turquoise beads in the photos accompanying the product description (and some of the photos posted by some reviewers) actually looks more like the cobalt blue in the necklace I received. No claims; The color is very pretty and goes really well with the colorful chevron stripes on the sides of the knotted fabric which flow into the multi colored cords that complete the necklace. I'm hoping the navy, blue and white cords will hold up well over time as individually they strike me as rather thin and delicate for such a solid necklace. The chain has some weight due to the amount of beads and the strands stay in place well, but it's not too heavy and comfortable to wear. The quality of the beadwork is top notch. As I've seen on several other necklaces in the Richera line, the quality of the hardware is actually the weak part of the construction - the rings that attach the extension and lobster clasp to the matching end pieces are very light. The large ring that attaches the lobster clasp to secure the chain has a very large gap and can easily cause the chain to break or even be lost. This gap is visible even in photos; You can enlarge the first image (which shows the entire necklace but not the mannequin) to see this. I only used a pair of small pliers to tighten it, but it annoys me to have to do this (or even check for that matter). It is a pity that better fittings are not used for such beautiful handicrafts. Otherwise I think this is a well made necklace that works well for everyday wear. It is comfortable to wear and goes with many things in my wardrobe. The price seems reasonable and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the hardware issue.
