While the stylus seemed handy for my laptop, it never seemed like a must-have. But on a whim I bought this product as it was significantly cheaper than the other options and I wanted less fingerprints on my screen. I'm very glad I did this as it was a great tool for scrolling through websites, reading academic papers and highlighting e-textbooks. While I don't use a stylus for digital art or drawing, precision really works for me when highlighting or sketching diagrams in my notes. I was also afraid of scratching or damaging the screen, but so far I haven't seen any damage.
