it's a cdrw disc and i'm sure it will work fine on any other standalone cd recorder
i bought it to record on an old (and very picky about which discs) to use Marantz Professional CDR631/U1B. It will not work. I'm just posting this to advise anyone in this situation to find another drive to try. Other than that it's a cdrw drive and I'm sure it will work great on any other standalone CD writer ;))
