Needed something to glue a destroyed slate clock case back together. Epoxy worked but it was too thick between the joints being glued so I tried this Gorilla Gel super glue. Really impressed with how it works making a strong joint. One reviewer said it foams up when you add a drop of water to it. He must have got another glue confused with this because it doesn't say add water! Just put a couple glue drops, hold two pieces together for 10-20 seconds and its done. Now for some tips. 1. Make sure their is no dust on the surfaces you are gluing together and test fit the pieces together first cause you're only going to get one shot at this. 2. After every use you need to wipe off the top and screw the cap on to avoid the tip clogging up. I kept a paper towel and the lid right by wear I'm working. As soon as I put the drops of glue on my piece to be glued I wipe the bottle top quickly, put the cap on, and then press my 2 pieces together for 10-20 seconds. If you wait till after you glue your piece together to put the cap on, or you don't wipe the nozzle off first, then you will probably be a reviewer that gets a clogged nozzle. It only takes me less than a second to wipe and put the cap on.----I paid 2.99 for 1 unit and bought 2 which is cheaper than buying a multi pack for some reason, so if you need several of these it is cheaper to by several single units than a multi pack.which is odd because usually when you buy more of something each unit should become cheaper.-----Anyhow, great product I highly recommend, oh and yes it dries clear.
