Review on 🐴 Cashel Quiet Ride Fly Mask with Ears and Extended Nose by Kimberly Jain

Nose valve clogs with dirt and impedes breathing

The mesh on this mask is so thin that it quickly clogs with dirt/pollen/grass bits. After less than 12 hours of wear, the part of the mask over my horse's nostrils was completely clogged (picture) making the long-nosed model dangerous. It was a dry day on short grass and my horse had no nasal discharge to cause. I cut off the nasal valve and will only use it for riding. I have a Crusader model and don't have as many problems with clogged nose shields - the holes in the mesh are larger. This model is nice and easy to ride but I wouldn't leave it on my horse to accelerate etc.

Pros
  • Size: Horse - Style: With ears and long nose
Cons
  • So-so
