When Covid hit my wife I was working full time from home. We both conduct a lot of meetings with Skype, Teams and Zoom. She used a Logitech C922 and I used my laptop with a built in webcam but I needed something better. Big brand webcams were selling out everywhere so I started looking for highly rated cams on Revain and found this cam from Growfast with lots of good reviews and rightly so. I've been using the camera daily for 5 weeks and I'm very happy with it. It has a great image and worked perfectly every time. The sound quality is also good. Manual focus wasn't a problem at all, it was pretty much set and forgotten unless you drastically change the camera position. I mainly used it on my desktop in the office, but I also connected it to my media PC in the living room for a Zoom family call on the big screen TV. The 100° field of view works very well when several people are spread out in a large room. The attached image shows a side-by-side comparison of a Growfast webcam with a 100° field of view and a Logitech C922 with a 78° field of view. Both cameras are 27 inches from my face in the same lighting. The Growfast camera needs a bit more light, but I find the image is as good as Logitech's and even a little less harsh or grainy. With Growfast about 20 inches. in the distance it shows roughly the same image as Logitech at 27 inches. I would definitely say that this camera deserves its 5 stars from me.
