It's not that hard to figure out how to assemble but instructions would be nice. Everything twists together and there is a plastic screw that allows a part to be extended or retracted for different brush heights. The brush end design does not work well on uneven surfaces such as slate tile and uneven wood decks. This can be good for wet, slippery surfaces. But a good corn broom is still best for all surfaces.
