I just finished building the budget model. I ended up trying them, why not, and I wasn't disappointed! I bought a set of three green LED case fans (T3GN3-3 GREEN LED) for $15.99 ($5.33 each) and they are very quiet and bright. I wanted to create this review specifically for an issue that I am having I have. So I first connected the 3-pin to the 4-pin of the mobile device (asrock b450m pro4) to turn on these fans, but I noticed that when the computer boots up, the fans and the LED turn on, but the LED turns on . off (the fan was still running and this happened with all 3 fans). I was able to solve this problem with a 4-pin Molex connector. Sources said it should be fine as the 4th pin only controls speed. But hope this helps someone who encounters this problem. In addition, these fans should come with instructions on suction direction, 3-pin and 4-pin connector compatibility, and more basic/helpful information to make things easier for beginners.
