Review on ECCPP Towing Mirror for 2011-2015 Ram 1500 2500 3500, 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500 - Black Power Heated Side View Pair Mirrors by Frank Garahana

A few months ago I bought a set of these mirrors and recently the ambient air temperature sensor has started giving erratic readings and throwing an error code from time to time. If you have the same problem and can't find the sensor, I think I found it. On the underside of the mirror assembly is a small removable plate that the puddle light is placed on. Delete it. Then look through the hole to the base of the mirror - you will see four wires hidden in the base. Carefully pull out these wires. One of them is an empty electrical plug which I think a puddle indicator would plug into. The other is a pair of wires ending in this little lightbulb - I think it's a temperature sensor. I don't know how to get a replacement sensor yet; What will happen next.
