Ultra fast. Kills benchmarks but isn't designed to run on battery power, just uses too much power

This laptop is incredibly fast in every way. And I/O is great, has a Thunderbolt 4 connection for connecting a Thunderbolt 4 hub and the ability to use an external GPU, expand the dedicated graphics card to 2 full 4K or 1 8k monitors and a 10 gigabit - Connect network card. I wish it had 64 gigabytes of RAM instead of 32, but that's an easy upgrade. MSI's control center is a little weird and confusing to overclock anything, but nothing is needed yet. Definitely get desktop quality for this laptop. Yes, and the Steel Series' bottom color bar and customizable backlit keyboard puts on quite a show when not in use. The battery is weak, but judging by the hardware inside, it makes sense that a power source would be needed to keep the CPU and GPU fully utilized, but 17-inch laptops tend to be too big to carry around on the go . It's not difficult at all, you just need to bring a bulky power bank to take full advantage of it. I'm very picky when it comes to computers, this was my 3rd computer I've bought and returned in a month and I can't believe how much better it is than others I've only had a few weeks or days have previously tested. There's enough power to push the main display to 4K, but it has a 360Hz refresh rate at 1080p. It's hard to win. Overall, the only downside is that it can't really be used without the bulky power adapter.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Easily serviceable
