Wow! My 17 year old cat was diagnosed with kidney failure at the end of July. She spent August stumbling and dragging her head on the floor because the vet just wanted to boost her potassium levels with food. I stopped doing this this month because it clearly wasn't working and my vet finally advised me to try potassium supplementation. Three days later she held her head again. Within a week she could sit and walk. Surprisingly, she even licks it off with a strong maple scent. Sometimes she has to convince. I wish there was a different flavor like the one they put in L-lysine tubes (she loves it). But it gives her a second chance, so five stars! Delivery was fast and the tube had not expired. Edit (October 31st), my cat died. But that was due to a stroke, not kidney failure. Before the stroke, she ate the gel without any problems. And it worked great. She could walk and go up and down small stairs.
