I have a very itchy scalp and low porosity hair so the product builds up quickly. This product does an excellent job of cleaning my hair and keeping it hydrated while not causing product build-up. I scratched my scalp constantly during the day and violently at night. To the point that it wouldn't let me sleep. My scalp will never itch again. I will use it once or twice a week! That's all. My boyfriend also has dry scalp and loves it too. I have never used a product so smoothly and effectively. I would give 6/5 if I could. Smells good but not too strong. Neutral scent, not masculine or feminine, just nice and clean.
