I don't exactly hate it but I suppose it really cleans your brushes. The brush on the left that I used TWICE with the tool and could still see the eyeshadow on the brush. I cleaned the right brush by hand. For proof that the brush was not permanently soiled see fig 2 after I manually cleaned the brush I used with the tool and it is now clean. Also don't recommend this if you have cheap brushes. I ripped off most of my cheap tips trying to get them out of the rubber holder so I have to re-tap them to fix them. The metal cap on one of my beautiful brushes also broke. Overall, I think it's a keeper because it's fast, so I'll half-clean my brushes more often than put off washing my hands forever. The situation is better than nothing. I like the rotating function with at least two stars. I wouldn't recommend this if you are a professional makeup artist as I wouldn't trust it to clean deep enough to reuse brushes for different clients.
