I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews!

They are so great and just what I was looking for. They don't shed cotton like others I've used. They are very soft. They don't look dirty (seriously), they have a lot of layers, and if you want to separate the layers, don't. You can halve if needed. The top and bottom layers are woven, while the middle layer is made of fluffy cotton. Super durable. Will not fall apart when wet, I will order more.
