Worked very well. The old socket on my bathroom light/fan was slightly different in the way the fluorescent light was attached, but after scratching my head a bit, I trimmed the adapter's locking tabs with an X-Acto knife. Then the adapter was installed. lightweight, with enough friction on the sides of the base to keep it securely in place. The rest is perfect! Does a great job and I'm glad the economical LED lights up my bathroom a lot better than the old fluorescent.
