I've updated everything in my kitchen over the past few years; It came as a surprise that the salt and pepper shakers are the hardest to replace. I've tried at least five different types, they've either fallen apart or spilled or been under-salted or peppered. I decided to try these simple shakers and they work great. The upper parts are made of stainless steel and therefore last a very long time. You don't have to guess what's in the shaker because it's clear, delivers the right amount of salt and pepper every time, and is easy to fill and clean. Sometimes simple things work best, and this is the case. You can't go wrong with these well-made simple shakers.
