My aging dog loves to lie down on my rug in our living room. She leaves behind hairs, dander, and more! I bought this to put on top of the rug for her to lie on. She went right to it and established it as hers! It has a nice rubber backing so it does not slide around. The rug-like top of it is very soft and pretty thick as well. The two dog prints are cute and let everyone know that this is where Lucy belongs! PS I haven't washed it yet, but I feel like it will wash and dry beautifully. Think of it as a heavy duty bathroom rug! I love it!
