I thought it would be difficult to assemble but it turned out to be surprisingly easy. It consists of many different small pieces of wood. And you basically build it following the instructions. You should have your own tools but it's really just a basic screwdriver etc. This is perfect for holding tools or any other type of electrical appliance or gadget you might have. I ended up putting it in our basement and not putting in tools but real implements for our lawn. It is also ideal for painting over to match where you place it.
