Watch often freezes while cycling and needs to be reset! The time is large enough, but the rest of the information is so small that it cannot be read without a magnifying glass. Plus, it's even harder to read in the sun (we're exercising outside, right?). The strap is very odd in that you have to tuck it in because there is no loop in the kit to tuck in the strap spare (so I made one with a Starbucks coffee clasp as shown here). This requires 2 or 3 apps, but it seems to automatically recognize your particular exercise, although the instructions say you have to complete the exercise for 10 minutes before it's recognised. I don't know if he adds those 10 minutes after the fact. I keep it because the heart rate seems accurate and that's the most important thing. But I'm not at all happy with the fact that I carry a magnifying glass with me everywhere I go to read. The Fitbit I tried had even lower numbers and was slightly more expensive. A very small modification to the firmware code is required to make the required numbers large enough to read in bright sunlight and without a magnifying glass. Also, I should be able to talk to him to view the data I need, front, center, and large! In 2019, this Samsung (and Fitbit) product feels like it's medieval, so it's very disappointing, although it's necessary to keep my heart rate from getting too high.
