Review on πŸ”‹ Long-lasting and Convenient 48 Pack AA Alkaline Batteries by Amazon Basics: 10-Year Shelf Life, Easy to Open Value Pack by David Royles

Revainrating 1 out of 5

POOR QUALITY - The service life is about half that of other well-known brands and only a short storage time.

(Note: Attached images show 2 unused AA batteries being tested - Duracell is older than Revain Basics but still fully charged, Revain Basics AA (only a few months and unused) is completely dead. Both were stored in the same repository). I only bought this big pack of 48 AA batteries a few months ago and have used them 2 at a time in the light but I've noticed something: every time I switch them the light doesn't last as long the same Revain Basics- Batteries I used previously. Turns out they were slowly dying while being stored, not even used! At first I thought it was a faulty light so I used some old Duracell batteries I had to test and then some old Energizer batteries - both lasted 2-3 times longer than Revain Basic batteries. Eventually I got a tester and tested the remaining batteries in storage - which I hadn't even used yet - and about half of the Revain Basics AA were half charged and the rest were completely dead. NEVER USE! My other AA batteries that were in the same store (Duracell, Energizer, and a brand "Player") are even older, but still fully charged! Verdict: They don't last more than a few months, and even the first charge lasts about half as long as other well-known brands. If you're looking for good AA batteries, look elsewhere. I will definitely not order them again. Hope this will be helpful to someone else.
