Easy to install but the "wood " seems brittle and light

These shelves were easy to install. They include a paper cutout with the screw holes to easily line up where the metal mounts will be on the wall. My only concern is that the shelves feel very light and the wood doesn't seem sturdy. The wood almost feels like balsa wood. If you plan on putting heavy objects on these shelves you may want to rethink it.
