First of all, for those of us having trouble rendering in millimeters, that's 3/8 inch on the back. More precisely 7/I6. I wasn't sure about the size when ordering but now that I have it I'm so happy. My review can really be the same as everyone else is so positive and I feel the same way. These back earrings match all of my post earrings, help carry the weight of the heavier ones, are easy to hold, affordable and look beautiful. I've slept and showered in it and had no problems. My earlobes are longer than some people, so they may be a bit large for petite or younger people. I've noticed that the distance from the piercing in my ear to the bottom of my earlobe is longer than in previous years, so I had to adapt the original ear tips or make new ear tips for this style of earring. If this has happened to you, then these back earrings are a must-have for all your post earrings. They hold the earrings comfortably in place and I think they will also help keep the original piercing from stretching.
