Review on Theory11 Star Wars Playing Cards - Dark Side Edition (Red): Unleash the Power of the Sith! by John Hall

I LOVE these cards! As a Star Wars and card game enthusiast I saw these cards and just had to buy them. I have bought dark side sets but be aware that many people buy both light and dark side sets thinking they have light side and dark side characters but they do not have. The characters are the same no matter what deck you buy, the only thing that changes is the color (blue or red). These cards look so pretty and sophisticated, I love how they look elegant yet formal when we play cards. This is a great way to add some fun to the game while still keeping it formal (unlike some other card sets I own, like Theory11's Animal Kingdom). My only complaint about these cards is that some of the symbols don't make sense. Of course it's up to the creators and it's a small detail that ultimately boils down to personal preferences and opinions, but I'm a bit disappointed that there's no Chewbacca (sad face) or Yoda card, instead one of the redheaded admirals off The Force Awakens? Even R2-D2 and C3-PO didn't get their cards. I think R2-D2 and BB-8 would make more sense as wilds than D-0, but I personally like D-0 so I don't have a problem with that; However, I can see how others would have done it as D-0 only appears in a few films compared to the entire series. I find it strange that they chose him (Admiral Dude) instead of a more important and prominent character in the series like Chewie or Yoda, but. I think they're gone with that. All in all a great purchase for any Star Wars collector or card player, Star Wars fan. This is a great way to keep the cards formal (not too busy as I play with old people sometimes so it's tricky when the cards are really busy) but also some fun and excitement beyond the 'normal' ones , to add to boring maps. I highly recommend! They look and feel great and also come with an official Star Wars trading card (:
